The Army Uniform PolicyThe Army Uniform has two variations, Combat and Garrison. The Combat UniformThe Army Combat Uniform, depicted above, is worn when conducting field training, combat missions, or other duties as designated by local commanders. The combat uniform is worn typically with the combat helmet; however a green micro fleece watch cap may be worn under the helmet in cold weather. The uniform also comes with a cold weather/rain coat which may be worn in cooler temperatures or in-climate weather. When the cold weather/rain coat is worn, the combat ballistic/ammo-carrier vest will be worn over the coat. Soldiers may wear commercial black or green gloves in cold weather or while on combat missions. The Garrison UniformThe Army Garrison Uniform, depicted above, is worn while on duty in garrison environments located inside the borders of Samerica, or while working at an embassy/consulate office that is not located in hazardous duty location, or while on duty in a garrison environment in friendly countries. The garrison uniform is worn typically with the patrol cap; however a green micro fleece watch cap may be worn in cold weather, and a Bonnie hat may be worn in in-climate weather or hot environments. The uniform also comes with a cold weather/rain coat which may be worn in cooler temperatures or in-climate weather. Soldiers may wear commercial black or green gloves in cold weather or while on work details.
